UFI Joins Three Squares New England for their annual charity bike ride, the Ride for Food to raise money for local food pantries, kitchens, community farms and food rescue organizations. On Sunday, September 24th, 2017, the Urban Farming Institute will participate in the 6th annual RIDE FOR FOOD in Dedham.
Riders on our team will choose from a 10, 25, or 50 mile route, and will get their own personalized fundraising page to raise funds to support the important work that we do, building a healthier and more sustainable urban food system in Boston. Each teammate is asked to raise $1000, though some of us will raise more, some of us will raise less. *The 2017 Ride for Food will be limited to the first 350 riders who Register. They do not allow new registrations on Ride Day.
It will be a great day, full of friends, fun, and a lot of food! If this is something you might be interested in, please reach out to Anna for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you’re unable to ride, but can still help as a general event volunteer, please reach out, we’d appreciate that as well.
