WORKSHOPS

Each year, the Urban Farming Institute (UFI) organizes a series of workshops for the community. The aim of the workshops is to promote skill building and knowledge sharing through education and public awareness of healthy eating and living, urban agriculture, and local food production.

This year, UFI has been spreading the love for urban farming by providing workshops throughout the neighborhoods of Boston including, Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan. Some workshop topics include: All About Bees, Wild Edibles Foraging Hike (partnered with Hike4Life), Growing Food Without a Garden (held at The Food Project Greenhouse), Food As Medicine, and lots more.
